Terms of Use

Last updated 4 October 2026 · These terms are an agreement between you and Rosie's Bakery Games about the game Rosie's Bakery: Merge & Story (the "Game").

The short version

The Game is free to play, with optional purchases.
Gems, coins, stars, energy and other in-game items are for use in the Game only and have no cash value.
The Baker's Pass renews every month until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
Please play fairly and be kind.

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading or playing the Game you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you download the Game from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it. If you don't agree, please don't play the Game.

2. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. The Game, its story, characters, artwork, music and code belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy, sell, rent, modify or reverse-engineer the Game, except where the law allows it.

3. In-game currency and items

The Game uses virtual items such as gems, coins, stars, energy, tablecloths and gift boxes. You can earn them by playing and buy some of them with real money. Virtual items:

are a licence to use content in the Game, not property you own;
have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for money or sold;
cannot be transferred to another player;
may be rebalanced as we improve the Game, for example if prices or rewards change.

Purchases are final once the item has been delivered, except where the law gives you a right to a refund or the store's refund policy applies.

4. The Baker's Pass subscription

The Baker's Pass costs the monthly price shown in the Game and in the store before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time:

iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Rosie's Bakery.
Android: Google Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the Pass benefits until the end of the period you've paid for.

5. Refunds

Apple and Google process all payments, so refunds are requested from them: at reportaproblem.apple.com for iPhone, or through Google Play for Android. If something you bought didn't arrive, first tap Restore purchases in the Game's Shop, then contact us and we'll sort it out.

6. Ads

You can choose to watch short ads in exchange for in-game rewards. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Rewards are given only when the ad finishes, and there is a daily limit.

7. Fair play

Please don't cheat, use bots or modified versions of the Game, exploit bugs, or interfere with the Game or other players. If you find a bug, we'd love to hear about it. We may remove items gained unfairly, or suspend access where someone seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

8. Changes and updates

We'll keep improving the Game with updates, new chapters and events, and we may change or remove features. If we ever have to stop running the Game, we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the Game and stop selling purchases first.

9. Disclaimers

We work hard to make the Game reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of bugs. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded, including South Africa's Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

10. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim about the Game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability for anything that cannot legally be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If you live elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of your home country.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the Game. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
